Koncert skupine Pink Floyd iz prizorišča Los Angeles Sports Centre, posnet leta 1975 in odigran v okviru turneje »Wish You Were Here«, bo prvič izšel na vinilu in CD-ju.
“Pink Floyd Live From The Los Angeles Sports Arena, April 26th, 1975” bo na voljo pri Sony Music od 18. 4. 2026 dalje na štirih prozornih vinilnih ploščah. 24. 4. 2026 mu bo sledil izid na dvojnem CD-ju!
Koncert odpirata skladbi Raving and Drooling in You’ve Got To Be Crazy, ki sta kasneje skozi evolucijo postali Sheep in Dogs ter postali del desetega studijskega albuma skupine “Animals”, izdan leta 1977. Odigrana je tudi Shine On You Crazy Diamond v obeh delih, med njiju pa je vrinjena Have A Cigar. Sledi izvedba celotnega “The Dark Side Of The Moon” albuma, za finale pa še izvedba “Meddle” epa Echoes.
Zvok je remasteriziral Steven Wilson, pomagal pa si je s trakovi, ki izvirajo iz piratskega posnetka, ki ga je opravil danes že pokojni Mike »Mike the Mic« Millard. Njegovi posnetki losangeleških koncertov skupine Pink Floyd iz sedemedesetih se lahko pohvalijo po presenetljivi kakovosti.
Mnogi izmed teh Millardovih piratskih posnetkov so bili neuradno izdani na vinilu, čeprav sam ni odobraval prodaje svojih posnetkov za dobiček. Te posnetke je bilo mogoče prvič slišati, ko so bili izdani kot del ponatisa albuma “Wish You Were Here 50” iz leta 2025.
