Level 42, art pop rock ikone osemdesetih in prve polovice devetdesetih, bodo deležni posebnega sedmernega CD zaboja “The Later Years 1991-1994”, ki bo izšel pri založbi Cherry Red Records.
Vseboval bo dva studijska albume skupine Level 42, ki sta izšla med letoma 1991 in 1994, tretji CD bo vseboval radijsko editirane različice singlov z obdobja obeh albumov, medtem ko bodo preostali štirje CD-ji vsebovali B-srani izdanih singlov, sedem-inčne mikse, remikse in raritetne posnetke oziroma variacije singlov iz tistega obdobja.
Zaboj so kompilirali Level 42 in zelo dobri poznavalci skupine Paul Wallace, Paul Waller ter Simon Carson.
Spremno besedo je prispeval Daryl Easlea, ki je v fazi priprave materialov za ta zaboj, opravil s člani skupine tudi vrsto intervjujev.
Level 42 so nastali ob zatonu sedemdesetih in pričeli s kariero kot jazz rock fuzionisti, kasneje pa so razvili samonikli art pop rock z močno ritmično opornico!
Skupina je svoj prvi single Love Meeting Love izdala leta 1980 in že z njim dvignila dovolj prahu, da ji je to prineslo sklenitev pogodbe za izid istoimenskega prvenca, ki se je uvrstil med najboljših 20. albumov britanske lestvice najbolje prodajanih plošč.
Skozi leta so sledili še številni albumi ter nenehne turneje, skupina pa je pridobila veliko množico podpornikov ter oboževalcev!
